About 1 mile from Burnham seafront, there are plenty of free parking spaces suitable for Motorhomes - onto grass, so good for overhangs - but no overnight parking. This seems to be the only free parking in Burnham, the others ones being cash or ‘pay-by-phone’, and it is a 20 min walk to the town (or 45 minutes on the ‘scenic route’ via the estuary and seafront). There is also an excellent ‘Airstream’ tuck wagon selling coffee, bacon baps, etc![ATTACH...

Parking on the Esplanade, you park on the entire length of the Esplanade from one end to the other with a few exceptions, and its all free. At the far end next to the golf club the bays aren't marked so longer vehicles can park, all the others are so you may upset wardens although I have never seen any. Gets very busy in summer. Very clean paid for toilets (20p I think from memory) with an attendant halfway along the Esplanade Frinton likes to think its upmarket, so you will find very few if...
Large carpark next to the river, some pubs and eateries but not much in Walberswick its self. Nice spot to just chill or if your feeling energetic walk up the river and cross over into Southwold via the old railway bridge, the Southwold to Halesworth was a narrow gauge line (3') which closed in 1929. https://www.southwoldrailway.co.uk/history/ You can also take the foot ferry across the river where you will be rowed across in a small rowing boat. Undercliff road East you have to pay for parking. Often see motorhomes here, again a bit of a camber I sit two wheels on the curb and then its not too bad. Water tap by the side of the kerb and toilets close by. Parking places are not marked so nothing to upset the wardens.

Sea road is all free parking but has a big camber and is very popular so get there early. usual mix of seaside amusements and food outlets.
You can park any size motorhome/RV here you have to pay but its reasonable. Only one way in from the bottom, the top is exit only and has steel plates in the road to stop you. The grassed area which is pretty firm is accessed from the top of the carpark by a gate which is open between 8am-4pm or thereabouts, no overnighting. Portaloo toilets in the corner. Security camera on a high pole in the corner. Walk down the steps to the beach 100' below then you can walk to old Felixstowe which is...

Parking in front of Landguard Fort, and also at the viewing point further on but a bit tight for motorhomes, campervans not so bad. Its a single track road from the main road so you may meet a bus as this is on a bus route, they turn around at the Fort. Nice modern Café with toilets at the Viewing point. When open the Fort is interesting to visit, it was attacked in the The Battle of Landguard Fort towards the end of the...

This is the cheapest council car park in Ciren and, at the end furthest from the entrance, has several bays backing onto grass verges suitable for Motorhomes to park with their overhangs not protruding into the bays. It’s a 10 minute walk into the town centre. Beeches (GL7 1BW) From 1 March 2021 this car park will not accept cash payments. You will be able to pay using the Pay by Phone...
You can obtain a weekly pass in the information centres. These give access to nearly all the car parks along the Suffolk coast for £10. Excellent value when you see the daily rates.
