Wireless Reversing Camera

Has any one recently installed a wireless reversing camera? How is it, do you get a good stable image?

I have just fitted a Garmin reversing camera.It uses my Garmin 660 camper sat nav as moniter.Not had any issue's with it dropping signal.Not cheep but glad i fitted it.At least now i can flick it on and use as a rear view mirror as well.

I’ve used one of these for last 2 years. I have line of sight between camera and screen so image fine only distorting if there is a high power electric cable under the road. I believe the newer digital ones don’t suffer this but as it happens infrequently it’s not been a major issue. I have camera inside the MH clipped to the rear window frame of my PVC. I have it active all the time as rear view mirror as I don’t get much of a through van view.

Ours is a bit intermittent but it's on the rear no plate so the signal has to go through the mh to the sat nav.

I've got 2 Garmin BC40 and they are faultless, only drawback is you need a Garmin satnav for them to work

Another vote for the Garmin BC40. When switching on the video the connection is usually near instantaneous.

You'll need a switched power supply to the camera rather than it coming on with the reversing lights

If you have the BC 30 or 40 you just touch the icon in the top right hand corner

I've got mine wired constantly. Not to reversing lights. I.Just touch the camera picture on the sat nav and it comes on.

The BC30 and 40 are wireless only

We've got a cheap wireless Chinese one on the car as a reversing camera, but obviously no security on the signal.
Several times the screen has burst into life with a view of the inside of the horsebox we've been overtaking - obviously picking up the nannycam fitted to keep an eye on the horses.
