You can park behind the dunes at Juno Beach from , I think 1st October to the end of March. There are toilets and it is a short walk in to town.

Thank you both. Lenny I was concerned about no campsites so take on board your advice.
Nick it looks like we will be doing the full Aires path. Are you able to let me have a few details on the Aires you stayed at please.
We used Ouistreham (Camper Contact 2128), Courselles beach aire (Camper Contact 19391) and Arromaches (Camper Contact 1299)
We didn't have time to see the American beaches on that trip and I can't remember where else we went.
From memory Courselles doesn't have services so make sure you're full and empty when you get there. There are loads of other aires all along the coast though so finding a service point isn't difficult.
Arromaches is a must do for the D-day museum which is open all year.

In summer aires can get busy so we always aim to get there about lunchtime , in winter it may vary but as you are travelling near November 11th time which is commemorated at all memorials I think and not just WW1 , it may be busyier?

I think you like us have just been lucky, 3 days ago they tried to get in my mates van his wife was in it at the time this was at the Auchan Hypermarket at Dunkirk one of our regular shopping stops.I've always taken those reports with a very large pinch of salt.
We were in Calais at the time when, if you believed all the reports, every single British registered vehicle was guaranteed to be attacked and set on fire but we didn't see a single trace of any "migrants" never mind close enough to be worried about them.

Hi , we use & like the aire at Hermanville sur mer, a couple of miles from the coast , behind some small shops , free water and dump, no ehu , nice and safe about 300 yards from an english cemetery.
We've used that one several times. However on our last visit couple of years ago the service point had been destroyed by a fire (someone decided to have a BBQ under the community centre roof). Anyone know if it's been re-instated?
