Just to the east of Villach right next to the Oriacher See is ruined castle where they have a bird of prey sanctuary with shows.
This time of year they are at 1100 1300 and 1500.
You can see from photos there is plenty of space.
Tactics. Get there an hour before your show because parking for a motorhome is 14 euros. So it's a trek up the quite steep hill for 20 minutes if you park before the barrier. We were on a motorbike and that was a fiver, she only moaned for a short period.
Then if you have the Karten card you save 16 euros and don't have to queue.
At the arena there are 6 posts behind the top level of seats. Sit at the back under one of these. Middle is preferable and sun behind you. This is because the birds fly within 2 feet of you. Set your camera to video. You would have to be skilled to catch them in flight in focus.

Birds are right round the outside in large cages. Loads of eagles, owls and vultures but photos through the wire.
The monkey place is slightly lower but within the same parking and 16 euros as well but again free for Karten card holders.
