Are these fuses?

Rapido 7065 2015
Van is in our back garden, plugged in to ehu. Battery charger is usually turned off if we are not using the van for a while, summer the solar panels do the job.
Cheers
On our 7065 there is a battery separator under the trim in the passenger side footwell (very random place🤷) where the voltage for the van battery is measured. It may have come unplugged or gone pop ?

The EHU & solar will charge the hab batteries but unless you have a battery master or something equivalent the cab battery is obviously not getting a charge and so goes flat after alarm radio etc have slowly drained it!
I have a battery master. I’ve checked the output from that for the van battery and that’s ok. I think it might be what Lenny says… battery is FUBAR 🙄

Checked that I’m afraid 😳🙄

I plug the engine battery into an optimate maintainer when the van's in the garage. The last engine battery lasted 10 years and was still ok. I just replaced it because it was old 😇

Apart from the fuses on the starter battery my MH (Carthago)and has a group of fuses under the drivers seat. One 40amp fuse connects the engine starter battery to the CBE leisure system, if that is taken out the starter battery receives no charge when on hookup and the panel reads 0 volts. I doubt that the starter battery, even when flat, would read 0 volts.
Good luck tracing the fault.

Have you put your multimeter on the battery terminals and measured the voltage direct?

If the battery master is connected into the same circuit that the Cbe mains charger uses to put charge to the engine battery then the battery master is not going to work either. I doubt if the new replacement battery is actually at 0 volts., as SVMC15 has said, have you checked the engine battery terminals with your multimeter? I am sure it will either be a fuse or a break in the between the CBE system running forward to the engine starter battery.

I’ll check tomorrow regards the multi meter cheers. Regards fuses, I’ve checked everything I can find. Under the dash, the panel behind drivers seat, engine compartment, from the Cbe charger under the bed.
If all else fails, my mate who is a sparky is coming next week 🙄👍

I’ve put the multimeter across the battery terminals (I did disconnect it first lol) and it’s showing 13.7v 🤔🤔
Like I’ve said, it’s getting a good run out this weekend, so I’ll monitor it closely 👍

13.7 indicates it’s getting charged from either solar or charger - leave it disconnected for 5 or 6 hours then take a reading 😉 if 12.7 ish everything’s ok then it must be a control panel /cable fault ?

This would suggest that your panel showing 0v is the issue. Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with your system so cannot point you to where to look.

At least you don't have to purchase a new battery again!

Are you seeing starter battery voltage at pin 8 of the 8 pin connector (red wire) in the middle bottom multi plug of the DS450-RA panel?

Err, no. I think that’s a bit beyond my sausage fingers capabilities lol. I’ll leave it to my little fingers sparky mate next week. I do appreciate the info though 👍👍

You have a cable from your engine battery to your Nordelectronica charging unit. It terminates underneath. There are 3 terminal. A common earth, a pos feed to the engine battery and a pos feed to the hab battery. If there is a break or blown fuse in the cable yo the engine battery you will get no charge to the engine battery when on hook up and no charge to the hab battery with the engine running. It's easy to find out if that's the problem if you have a multimeter.

Update on my charging issues..
On Friday, van started ok ( I’d left the van battery on trickle charge for over a week), although the fridge wouldn’t go onto 12v, the battery icon on the fridge control panel flashing red and beeping. So, as everything in the fridge was nice and cold, I turned the fridge off completely and we set off to Thirsk.
Stopped at Boroughbridge for gas and fuel, resulting in 2 stop starts whilst there (fuel on the left, gaslow on the right..🙄)
As it was the races at Thirsk, we had 2 nights on the camping field, so no EHU. The battery was at 13.1v
Come Sunday morning, the battery was dead, so my jump pack did the job. Onto the main campsite, with EHU now available, trickle charger back on, and power pack charged up to 100% just in case.
Monday morning, repeat as the day before… had to use the jump pack. Arrived back home, I then immediately put my multimeter onto the van battery, and was shocked when it only showed 10.3v… knowing that it should have had a good charge, after having a good hour running with no great load being demanded.
So, this morning I rang GSF parts, basically saying the 4 month old battery was US. They had one in stock, agreed it was a problem,so I went and changed it. I also went to my local auto parts shop, got 2 new 50amp midi fuses ( 1st post picture) and changed them. I diligently changed everything thing over, following instructions from fellow funsters…. disconnect EHU, turn off the control panel etc…
And below are the results…👍👍👍

So, it’s back to normal now. Happy days
This is why I’m a former mechanical engineer, not an electrical one… I don’t like stuff that you can’t see… it’s voodoo😂😂😂😂
Thanks for all your help and ideas of how to sort this problem, after all, it’s what makes this forum great.. 👍👍👍
