Can anyone please advise if there is a MHFun area at the Easter Camperfest event? Myself and a few friends have tickets held over from last year but not sure where we will be placed.

There a 4 of us females in an area set up for ‘women campers connecting’ Loads of space and we have 2 Cinches up and enjoying the get together. Let’s hope the weather is kind to us

There is only ever a Fun area if people step up to organise it. It always seems to fall on the same people every year.

Well, it’s disorganised chaos here at the racecourse this morning.

I get the feeling that they didn’t know how many people were coming and there isn’t enough marked-out pitches. They are pitching people between the rows now so heaven help us if there is a fire.

I have just put my chair out to stop them squeezing someone into the space between myself and my son’s van.

For some reason the section of field where the Funsters camped remains empty

The lad pulled me in a space with 3 ft of the next van, I told I’m pulling at least another 3ft over (yes I know it’s not enough) but it’s acceptable now, no different to an aire, but at least I have a good space door side so I can put quest up

I just had a chat with the nice young man doing the parking-up. They are all students earning some pin-money.

He has been told about the spacing rules but it was emphasised that they were guidelines only and didn’t have to be enforced.

They don’t want any hassle.

We are just off centre on a well marked pitch, enough room to put the Quest up in front if we want and room for the canopy awning.
In front of us to the side are 2 motorhomes a vw camper and either another motorhome or a caravan in a square, with communal area in the middle.
Fortunately on the very first row at the back, facing the big white house up on the road, well not quite facing, we have our back to it
not going out in this can feel a hot drink coming on, now where's the tea boy. I make the most of it as I might not turn the gas on right
hopefully catch up later. seems we are getting a break in the rain in about an hour.

Went into Chester today for a couple of the girls to spend money. We finished off at The Architect for a late lunch which was lovely. Now back at the van with a brew and the heating on. Next will be gaming in the Cinche’s which we have put up and joined together. Might make it to the quiz tonight.
Typical bank holiday weather but still glad to be out with friends.
