On the same line as Jim Asked about van lust.
What gadget have you had your heart set on for a time but can't pull the trigger on buying. I lusted for a lithium battery for a long while and now have one, then the Samsung Galaxy S24Ultra.

Dangerous thread for the wallet

I'm lusting after TWO 300AH Fogstar Drift Pro's. To fit one under each seat. (on their side) Currently negotiating and hoping to be able to swap some advertising here for them. [fingers crossed] Otherwise I'll have to buy them with hard cash, but like I told Siân they are great value at just £100 each '\'

To have 600AH in the van will be awesome '\.

I couldn't lust any longer, just had to have it and nevermind the expense.
Thank god for temu.

I’m contemplating getting fixed steps on both front doors on our Fiat Ducato based motorhome.
We are both 5’6” and it is a big step for us, at least I have the benefit of the steering wheel!
I look at the u tube video everyday until my wallet cries.

Have you tried those straps that latch into the seatbelt latch and they have a handle and you pull yourself up. I can’t remember what they are called. Got ours via a link on Motorhome Happiness. They were not expensive. Got one for hubby who is not short but has difficulty getting in van.

Why do you need the Drift Pro. I've got a 230ah underseat Drift and it runs everything fine, and I've really been using some high drain appliances, air fryer, induction hob, coffee machine etc.

Full air suspension on the new van when it eventually comes.
I may be on for a bit of a battle having just spent a few K on a new e bike (told her afterwards) and just about talked her into a new e bike so she can keep up with me.

I think I'm safe with Lithium on the new van told her about a year ago I planned to spend 3.5k on the electrics.

Why do you need the 230 underseat drift, I've got 2 x 100 AH Sterlings that run everything fine

I buy all the little gadgets I want so no lusting. The bigger ones I lust after for months or years, I'm currently umming and arrrring over a Yamaha XSR900 in white 😍
toying with a Z900RS, But don't let the boss know :unsure:

Because it fit under my seat, and my AGMs were 6 years old. 200a current is enough so can't see the benefits of the Pro over the standard Drift.

Does anyone else find the quality of photographs taken on smartphones deteriorates after 2-3 years ?

I'd love an S24 Ultra but couldn't justify the 1.2k cost given the manufacturers want us to consider them disposables to be replaced frequently

Got it a bit cheaper but needed something to cheer myself up having been quite depressed by constant chronic hip and disc pain.

It's the Pro that I don't see the benefits of.

Because they will likely be the last batteries I ever buy. The Pro has some nice little additions and performance upgrades and a smart metal case that will make any future servicing or repairs a doddle. They have 30% more AH than the underseat 230. When they confirmed the 300AH are OK to be on their side and. Vanbitz confirmed they will fit under the seats, it was a no brainer for me to choose them over the Underseat 230.

Nothing currently.

It was Jacket Lust with me, but now I have my Paramo wind jacket, RAB quilt and Sprayway long lightweight goretex, I can't think of anything else I need
