We had five days at Le Goelands last May. Looks like Purrfecttune is doing an action replay of my trip last year.

Thanks Cyberyacht, we’ll take a look at those. If you want to stay on the aire get there early in the day, around mid-day. Pitches are a bit cramped. I've been working my way down to Andalusia so can recommend Zamora for a stopover. If north coast, Laredo between Bilbao and Santander is nice. Not far to the Picos de Europa from there.
Also has a pool, playground and sports facilities (which are not yet in operation) so not so expensive after all compared to UK!So about £24 in proper money. You couldn't get a CAMC site in the middle of nowhere with just a toilet block for that money. Makes you think!

Dieppe itself is a lovely old town worth a visit especially with all the restaurants along the old harbour. If the weather is good it's a nice walk along the prom. There's 2 aires, one near the port and one on the seafront. But really it’s just disembark in Dieppe and turn right
Thanks for the suggestion, we had ‘half an eye’ on Caceres alreadyAs you are now in Salamanca, I strongly recommend that you visit Caceres, which is a very interesting medieval city.
Game of Thrones and other movies were filmed there.
We usually stop off here and cycle in to the centre. It’s a great little stop over.Additional information on last nights stop.
As already stated, a huge and deserted area (on tiers) with the petrol station in one corner, not a sound all night.
This is a great overnighter even if not visiting Salamanca as it is directly off of the A-62, West of Salamanca (look for ‘Repsol el Marin’, the area is directly behind it).
