And that’s a problem, the job I bought it for has screws that are in deep pockets and the bits don’t fit😒, never mind I’m sure it will be useful one day. You can never have to many tools 😊
Sorry, I just had to giggle at that ... it's similar to me, I have the tools for the jobs but once hubby's been messing about in the workshop I can never find the flipping things!

Some very expensive but very smart folding hooks in brass. Fold flat when not in use and just ‘look good’ and very sturdy as they are made for boats

And also one of these to match - nice clock

When it's complete, do we Funsters get invited to the launch?
You are slowly buying a boat aren't you? 😄

Still dropping clangers and making it up as I go along
Just needs a bit of waterproofing before that 😀😀😀
Have to say that boat chandelry stuff is quality although £19 a hook is quite toppish 😱
Thought they looked good and were a simple bit clever idea. But then seen the price. I like the word toppish

I can vouch for the quality - lovely brass and when not in use they just look decorative - bought three, then liked them so much I bought another three - madness really but bloody useful

I’ve just paid a man NZ$200 (£97) to wash and hand wax my motorhome. He’s done an excellent job and I don't think that was expensive, especially considering he spent at least half a day doing it.
The strong UV light here is very hard on the vinyl and decals and the job of cleaning it has become too dangerous and difficult for us oldies, so I don’t mind paying to have it done every now and again. Finding someone to take on the job was difficult. The usual car valet companies didn’t want to know so I was really glad to find this husband and wife team.

Yes your UV levels are exceptional. I guess it also impacts on wipers and tyres, do you keep them covered?

It’s funny you should mention tyre covers - I am just about to buy some. Last year we had a tyre wall blow out and it was on the side that gets the sun where we park the van. The other side is against a wall and doesn’t get the sun.

4x 5ltr water bottles sadly the one I had gifted to me from Spain started to leak and the spring water from the shops no longer fits under the cupboard so they fit under the sink perfectly so have drinking water on board and enough to use if the van is drained down for short overnights without the faff of filling and draining .

So the what'd have a bought 4 bottles of air

My tyres are usually in a shady spot but even in the UK my wipers take a pounding from UV. I haven’t had to replace the wipers for 5 years since I started using UV covers on them, previously 2 or 3 years seemed to have them splitting.
