So i'm still searching for an A Class to full time in for a year+. Only a few weeks away from the house selling so need to get cracking.

I really like the rear island beds as you can get in and out both sides and they have nice little wardrobes either side.

The twin beds however seem to either be more popular as the majority for sale are twins. Or everyone bought them and hates them hence more for sale ?

I cant see why anyone would want twins as I definitely dont want to sleep that close to a guest should I have one. If i'm by myself I can star out in the bed and I still sleep entwined on the current girl at night when she's with me.

So my thinking is that twins are for old people that dont "cuddle" anymore ;-)
Or am I missing something here that everyone else has worked out from owning them longer?

Prefer twins and that is what we hunted out and was in are early 40s when we bought it.

Wardrobes are for the old people not single beds. Who wants a wardrobe these days.
I like a wardrobe to hang my shirts in 🤔

I was under the impression that Germans preferred that layout. And lots of vans, particularly high end ones, are German.

Not an A class but having the choice of decent sized singles or a large double in our coachbuild works best for us.
The double saves on heating in the winter. After sharing a bed with management for forty two years a single bed feels strange. If I am away with our son we use the singles.

We always look for good wardrobes. I'm not old, only 79. Prefer double bed.

Hired a double bed version and could never live with the central shower bog setup so hunted down our perfect layout of twin bed with full end bathroom. Still can't fault it and a twin bed fits 2 very snuggly 😘

The first van we bought had twin singles and we slept one night in it before I turned the bed bases and mattresses around to make a transverse double with a bit of room at the side for a cup of tea or discarded clothes, we put it back when we sold as the new keepers wanted twin singles.

The next van we ordered as twin singles just to get a big garage and I altered the bedroom straight away to make it a massive transverse and we had a new mattress made to suit.
