Which portable washing machine

I have one of the Streetwize ones. Brilliant things they are too. The spin drier is superb. (y)
I didnt know they used Fairy washing powder, the things one learns on MHF

This is our set up. It works very well and actually takes a lot more than you would think. Fits perfectly into what would have been the gas locker and works well off the inverter, it is connected directly to both the fresh and grey water tanks using about 20L of water per wash.

It is a Daewoo Mini Washer, it works very well as i said. The only challenge is the machine is designed for gravity draining, so if you want it to empty into your grey tank you need to fit a pump. Mine empties into a 5L container which has a pump built in pumping the contents into the grey tank.
This is my second model, I had the washer dryer model on the last van but the dryer was never used and requires the gas locker to be modified to fit as the lint filter slides downwards at the bottom and there is not sufficient space within the original locker for this to happen.

I fitted something like this in our Big A Class

We have this, very very quiet even on spin. You can't hear the dryer..... We used site washing machines but got sick of cleaning them before use. We only use on hookup with online water and a grey waste drain.

Not an issue probably if you have a Morelo Palace. Us lesser mortals would begrudge the 20L of water to run it.
Probably use a lot more than that with our twin tub, not a problem if you have a full tank.

Very easy to get hold of. The model I have fitted is 4 months old and is the updated version which includes the instructions and controls in English which used to be hard to get. Many many on the market so obtaining is not an issue. I had mine supplied and fitted by a German motorhome specialist as he has all the right equipment and parts at hand, he fitted my previous one was well.

Would be grateful for a contact as we will be going to Croatia soon and I have to stop over in Germany to have work done on my van so could hopefully arrange something.

My van has been fitted out with the water supply and waste in the garage by the factory so should be an easy fit😁

They have a mini washing machine fitted to a Palace at Morelo but a sign saying not available!!

Hello, Klauf Hunerkopf have fitted both for me and normally have them in stock. The issue with these machines as I said previously is the drain is gravity fed, but if you are having yours fitted high in the garage like the one in the Morelo show van it may be high enough to self drain. The other challenge is the mounting, not sure if Morelo have made provision for this in your van. It really needs to be mounted securely. They fit a metal frame in the seat locker to bolt through from the gas locker. The van does shake when it is on spin. Overall we have been pleased with them. If you do visit Klaus be sure to stay on his campsite, the best shower rooms I have ever seen in 30 years of motorhoming and the guests he has on site with their vans are amazing. I counted almost 15 million euros of vans when we were on site. We were the poor ones in the corner.

It’s only a few hours from Morelo and a slight detour so will contact them and see what they say.

Many thanks..
