What has happened to Spain's Weather?

Been in Spain 8 days slowly heading south. We have had only 3 decent days. Cold and windy here in Albarrcin and looks the same for the next 10 day forecast further south. Might just head to Velencia and go towards France along the Med.
Cost of diesel may come into the equation!

When we had a house in Spain near Marbella, we never went in March because the weather was always rubbish, often worse than the U.K. and cold.

You will be. We do get the Saharan sand here when the wind is in the wrong direction. Our skies are orangey atm.

Even more so now than when the photo was taken.

We're due to cross via ET on Wednesday and then travel down to the Eastern side of Spain for a nice casual tootle about once past Barcelona ... might have to make it a sloooooooooooooooooow journey through France!

Its a bit weird here with the sky, but hopefully it will be blown over , it forcast rain from 1600 Wednesday until maybe Saturday here in Javea. Bob.

Drove down from Tordesilas to Monfrague (Extramadura) today very windy and showery temperature down to 5 deg C coming over the hills. It’s rained constantly and still is since arriving at Camping Monfrague but temperature creeping up from 8 mid afternoon to 10.5 now at almost 22.00hrs and rain is light and showery yeah

Add that to the chance of Northern Lights as far South as North Wales after yesterdays Coronal Mass Ejection which was massive

Can't wait to get back to Spain in April. It has been cool and very windy in Cyprus this month, it was warmer in jan/feb! (But still nice enough for sun baking on the shelter of the balcony)

Also can't wait to clean all the Saharan sand off the car/patio/conservatory roof.... again!

It has been mostly warmer than the UK though, we still have that treat to look forward to when we visit the kids for a fortnight and attend the first birthday of granddaughter no 2

Oh dear, worse than here (Murcia) so far.

The forecast is for all week, with two really bad days, Thursday and Friday. the wind direction changes.
