It looks like our short trip next week will have to be UK based. We have just a couple of weeks or so and wondered about North Devon and on the way down the Forest of Dean.

Can anyone recommend any must see places and also any good CL's, CS's and wild camping spots in those areas.

Thanks
BD

We have just come back from Combe Martin, we absolutely loved it, so did the children, the weather was awful , never mind ... we stayed at newberry valley caravan park, must admit it wasnt my favourite, just of the fact it took longer to walk from the back field to the entrance, than the entrance to combe martin lol.

Hope you have a great time

Thanks

We will probably stay on CL's or wild camp if there is somewhere thats ok. There is only the two of us and we have the bike so it doesnt really matter where we stay in relation to towns, attractions etc.

Hope the weather improves!

:BigGrin:Yes, I am local, Roger (wildman) also from Ilfracombe and a few more FUNsters:BigGrin:

We liked Frampton on severn in Gloscestershire and the CL there (can't remember the name sorry) and Collacott Farm CL near Barnstable. The area around Barnstable, Instow and Bideford is great.
