VPN for someone who is clueless about them (1 Viewer)

Thanks everyone. The confusing part is that I am using a U.K. sim and it looks like SKY sports have found a way of tracking your location via the network provider rather than your IP address? I don’t remember having this problem in previous years. All my other content is accessible, it is only Sky sports which seems to now be controlled?
I’ve tried different French network providers and 2 different U.K. SIMS to no avail. I’m assuming that a VPN would give an alternative IP address but I’m concerned this may not stop SKY sports. Have I got my technology wrong?

The VPN should mask your location but I don't know how Sky works may still not work if the Sky setup only allows you to use it at your registered address.

It is all accessible anywhere in the U.K.
It looks like I’ll have to listen to the test match on BBC sounds and watch the highlights later

Highlights on BBC if you haven't already found them, should work on your UK sim.
