For those of you who can't live without EHU tough, no EHU this year, they had a load of equipment nicked last year so not providing EHU this year.

Only problem is that it clashes with the Malvern (Fun) & Bristol Balloon Festival (MCC) rallies so tough choices but plenty of Funsters to go around

No dance floors at those ones so not worth going.

sorry to hear that hope all is well now. This is a really great show but for some it is the same dates as Malvern. I have already got my ticket for malvern (as you have to get in quick) but will be going to the retro show instead. So i will have a ticket available once i am booked into newbury.

It's a shame that Retro, Malvern & the Bristol Balloon Fiesta are all at the same time this year so tough choices to make!
It is possible to get a lot out of Thursday with the Nightglow at Bristol followed by either Malvern or Retro Friday onwards

Does anyone know the dates of the Balloon Festival please, so I can work out whether I can get to this one.... it sounds brilliant but don't want to put name down for Light Fest if I can't get there with limited driving time. Thank you.

Too true ... Bristol Balloon Festival http://www.bristolballoonfiesta.co.uk/ is 10-13 August (Thursday is great with the Night Glow but Saturday gets a bit packed) this year & Retro at Newbury http://www.retrofestival.co.uk/ is same weekend so ideal for Thursday for balloons followed by Retro Friday-Monday
