Unless its old like mine take it with you and give it some exercise. Road is mainly very quiet going round the island though does get busy for 3 1/2 miles if theres a ferry just came in.

We've a dog trailer so ours often come with us. More pedal power needed though and we don't have cheats bikes either. Luckill it's a flat island

@Clive - I'm happy to do a bit of sailing too. Been a few years since I was last afloat but I'm sure it's like riding a bike?
As for the kayaking @irnbru, we are happy to fall in with the majority for either a full or half day and also have bikes so would love to do the cycle thing too - en route to the pub of course

2 small, one mini poodle and one chawawa, yorkie cross, no wouldn't want them outside as they tend to bark at anything, they would be ok in the van for the half days but I wouldn't leave them all day, maybe I can get an open canoe and take them with me

Ok put me down for the kayaking and the cycling. The sailing is £50 for a days taster. Seems they have single handed Lasers, the bigger crewed Laser or Dart 16 cats. They provide all the equipment you need. Anyone else interested?

Fancy crewing/helming on a dart? No dinghy will ever compare to an Osprey and haven't sailed cats for about 30 years. Confession time......I did rather damage Mrs Deluxe's nose when I last sailed one though

Hi Millport funsters
An update...Firstly I have received an email stating they don't think the grass tenting area will hold the weight of the Mhs so we need to be parked up on the hardstanding between the huts. Still inside the Garrison grounds but kinda like a few narrow paths with grass either side where awnings can go out but its not the best view, In fact its where we were parked last time and to be honest not really any view :-( ..though the seafront is less than a min walk . I have therefore asked in view of this they either reduce their price or throw in the use of a hut. I will keep you updated.
Secondly heres the reply from the Outdoor centre regarding kayaking.

At the moment we do have availability for 21st June 2017. Our kayak instructors work on a ratio of 1:6.

Our prices depend on the number in a group. If you have between 6 and 10 the price would be £40 per person for a half-day session (no lunch), or £61 for a full day (price includes hot lunch).
If there are only 4 wanting a full day session, the price would be £66 per person inc lunch.

To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of £20 per person is required.

We could achieve 6 for HD and 6 for FD if you are happy to do full day @The Happy Couple

I asked if we could all pay our own deposits using ref..name and MHF.
When I return from holiday I will issue an 2 invoices – 1 for the full day session and 1 for the half day session.

The participants will then be able to quote an invoice number when they call with payment.

So anytime after 2 weeks time so we can guarantee our date WED 21st JUNE
