I was about to say that and the heat caused could quite likely cause the grease in the bearing to melt out and make bearing failure more likely.Just be careful its not a binding brake , very similar symptom

PeterCarole29 After four tries, I am hoping the correct calliper comes today. It is the driver's side and apparently it is a dual purpose calliper and it is cracked on one of the pistons.No they haven't, but I will find out. It was striped down awaiting the arrival of a new part. The company sent out the wrong part!!! Fingers crossed nothing else is wrong.

Something, in the back of my mind, seems to remember an article about over greasing problems on Al-Ko suspension.
It may have been on another or earlier vehicle but might be worth checking?
