I think I'd better leave this forum or sell the van!
It seems like a meeting place for PSA vehicle owners to discuss the never ending usually expensive list of ways these vehicles can up of failing when left alone for a few days :crying1:
Was happy with mine till I started reading
now just anxious at the thought of having to go out in. it::bigsmile:
Don't worry.
If it doesn't have Comfortmatic, Adblue, twin EGR or a timing belt you will be fine. :giggle:

Cheered me up no end :giggle:.Only got 2 out of four !
Van has done 24k(2020)
Had a leaking adblue tank which I removed repaired and refitted, bought a spare tank ready for when I need it
Just bought a cambelt kit,to fit in the autumn
Sealed dreaded scuttle to screen...was like a waterfall under bonnet
Added solar starter battery charging and visable voltmeter in cab to hopefully avoid airbag ECU
Bought Diagbox kit
Making it as difficult as possible for it to fail !
But I'm sure somewhere in it's DNA it has other ways of surprising me šŸ˜”

Burstner I'm new
No they haven't, but I will find out. It was striped down awaiting the arrival of a new part. The company sent out the wrong part!!! Fingers crossed nothing else is wrong.
PeterCarole29 After four tries, I am hoping the correct calliper comes today. It is the driver's side and apparently it is a dual purpose calliper and it is cracked on one of the pistons.

Update ..

It's not a bearing failure ...

it's a seized brake calliper.. well done those who suggested that may be the problem.

so a new calliper and brake pads..

I've asked the garage to check the other three while they are at it

thanks to all who posted

AL-KO axles have grease nipples .. greased them regularly on my Hymer
Greased regularly, you say!

Something, in the back of my mind, seems to remember an article about over greasing problems on Al-Ko suspension.

It may have been on another or earlier vehicle but might be worth checking? šŸ‘

The handbook says every 20 000km or every 12 months whichever comes first.
Over greasing can blow the seals out.
