Phil's fast asleep so can't make any sarcastic replies. He has had a busy day giving me a break! He has been so relieved that he managed a glass or 2, 3 or 4 of wine tonight, hence he's sleeping like a baby, bless him! What a turn around he has made in the last week or two. Looking forward to seeing you all on our travels so I can thank you personally for your support during the most arduous and emotional time of my life. Andrea

Phil and your experiences made me re evaluate my whole life

Thank you both very much

We did FaceTime with them today
All was going well unti Agent E (Ringleader of the Feral Grandchildren) tried to kiss the phone screen and broke the connection

Lovely to see you posting Andrea & that things have really seemed to have moved up a gear.

I've felt privileged to have been along for the ride - you've both been such an inspiration.

Hope you've mananged to finish the ironing by now though!

After a restless night in Altea caused by the relentless crashing of the waves on the seashore, we have headed north in search of a peaceful Camperstop and a little siesta.

We've arrived at Nules (Campercontact 47940) which is in the grounds of a restaurant close to the sea, but which has the background of mountains.

We decided to taste the comestibles on offer and had a very pleasant surprise !

For starters we were served a mixed salad, dressed with a dates and a rich sweet sticky vinegar dressing.

Mrs C chose a starter of Octopus poached in red wine

I chose Sauted Artichoke and Ham - yummy

IMG_7154.JPG

For main course we both chose fillet of pork with veggies and potatoes

IMG_7155.JPG

Which we paired with a red wine from Aragon and a bottle of still water

For desert we both chose pears poached in red wine and spices - yummy

Can you guess the bill?

€34.90 got it all worked out in my head, then got involved in the extra banter had to go back and do it all again

Not even sure if I came to the same both times :)(y)

I'd suggest checking again cos we had more than one bottle of wine

Maybe Jacob could advise?

The implication was that you had wine by the glass! My guess is based on 1 glass each.
