Food!

Looks like the site restaurant does good real food - wondered if they would do something food wise on the Saturday night - a big Funsters meal/BBQ so we could all get together & not have cook or do the washing up for one night?!

Just got back from our Jollies in Sri Lanka and am now getting back up to date with this thread. I was leaving any discussion with the site until the New Year but I totally agree that we should be putting our heads together regards entertaining ourselves !
With the number of people pledging to come I am sure that Norden Farm will be more than willing to do something for us, I also know a local entertainer from Bournemouth who we saw with Pat1951 (Pat & Trish) earlier this year & may be able to book him one night (he is a real laugh) & would be ideal for the Funsters, I may have to start looking at any Site licensing conditions but classing it as a private party it might not need one but will have to check with site management.
Of course the World Cup is on (sorry girls) so a bit of a party might be in order to drown our sorrows when England play & bring your bunting :thumb:
So open to any suggestions, there has been a few requiring EHU, that may not be possible on the Rally field but the adjacent site field has them & there will be lots available in June.
I have a list of all those wanting to come & will post the list nearer the time, over 60 Units up till now & will discuss with the site if I need to put a limit on it.

We are new to Motorhomefun. We started using Nordon Farm back in 1980, in our first caravan, when Mr Ram started, the running has now passed over to his daughter. If you are going in 2014, try booking the Donkey field. near to the first toilet block and the shop. would very much like to join you.

Welcome to Motorhome Fun & thanks for the advice. I have booked the rally field towards the rear of the site however with the numbers wanting to come & some wanting EHU I am considering trying to get exclusive use of one of the site fields. We camped on the donkey field this year & its very nice but I don't think they will let us use that one as its popular. I will update when I've approached the Site with my request.
