Not quite but it’s not too far away. As much as I love traveling I always marvel at what a beautiful part of the world our home base is every time we are back for a while.

Night market at Hua Hin, some of the best street food we have had. The lady selling the Satay was the same when we came here 5 years ago, and the extortionate the prices, the current exchange rate is 43 to the pound.

My thoughts exactly. I just wish, as a cyclist, Hampshire council could put some nice tarmac down on the idyllic cycling lanes around here.
It's hard to imagine I'll find nicer cycling anywhere abroad than around here but it's getting more dangerous to admire the views whilst looking for potholes.

Frustrating when you see French road-crews putting beautiful smooth new Tarmac down on roads that are better than ours already.

Mountains, lakes, waterfalls, alpine fauna. Not so much obvious wildlife, otherwise perfect

Not exactly a Photo of the Day. I took this one of my brother in 1976 when we were backpacking in the Pyrenees. Lac de Gaube (I hope!) in the background. We reached here from the Vignemale area and probably down the valley in the background of your photo. Note aluminium framed rucksack. They were all the rage then. And the 1970's hair...

Another couple of the Cuckmere down to the sea. The position of the sun has made it look overcast but I can safely say there is not a cloud in the sky.

Heading north on the m5. Decided to have a pub stop at thePuritan inn near bridgewater. Free ehu and grey waste disposal. Must have a meal.

My company sells farm machinery so today’s job was to install this new baler with the customer. The same principles as a MH handover but I’d like to think our ability to look after the machine through its 4 years manufacturers warranty is better than some MH dealers I read about on here. Any questions about the machine please ask.

Eucalyptus trees grow pretty quickly...

QMJ's entrance was reducing so I leapt into action (after thinking about it for a few weeks).

I used a hand saw... chainsaws are for wimps (or bigger trees).

Took three minutes... have to have a long sit down now...

There's an important difference between a pub called The Puriton Inn and the Puritan Inn. especially if you're hoping to get a Pint.

The fourth image is inside of Marsden Rock, but you're correct, the massive arch of old would have been pretty spectacular from a kayak.

If memory serves, it wasn't a full collapse, but the authorities had to make it safe by blowing it up, due to the numbers walking in on low tide.

Went out to supermarket and left the dog at home.

Came home, dog delighted to see us, wags her tail but caught it on the side of the couch...

Trip to vet confirmed a broken tail, vet splinted it with lolly stick. Should be OK in a couple of weeks

Round baler being delivered to us this morning, got it Pdi’d and was working with our customer by 4:30 this afternoon. Main reason for using a square baler is you can road transport a greater weight with square bales than round on a lorry. With more and more straw being used in power stations its all about transporting the maximum weight per journey.
