Great photos you lucky, lucky bungy you!(y)
im pretty sure their holt is around the clump of trees on the left of the vid shot... I found some tracks on the river bank that were otter like, but too small for the one id seen before, and they were in amongst larger tracks so I think there may even be a pup as well:)

Need to get myself one of them wildlife cameras and set it up up there!!

You are very lucky, we've seen Otters at Rhandirmyn but on this part of the Usk all we've got is bloody Mink which (as you know) destroy all the birds and small mammals.

Apparently the best way to locate an occupied holt is to find the dog otter spraint. Sorry for the long linky and hope it works(y)

There are 4 spots along a 1/2 mile stretch of the bank of the river at the back of the house which regularly has spraints over the last 4 months, along with 3 sightings - so looking good

Minx have all gone from this stretch of the Monnow, havent seen one for some years, or any signs of them which is probably down to the Otters moving in as they dont get on!!

And just to add to it all I finally found a kingsfishers nest last weekend as well - see them regularly up here but never worked out where they were nesting
