Strategically sited (3 baths) our Blackbirds save us the job of watering some of the flower beds in summer, that's when they're not fighting each other the dopes!

Smoo cave today, a short walk from my site in Durness, the river enters the cave from above

Brilliant, probably made better by bit of snow melt and more water coming in, our kids were gone before we came up here, cant wait to bring my grandson the stories you could make up while in here

No movan, just some local mongrel I think (!) They're so comfortable with the climate here that they flower nearly all year round. Camellias are a bit like weeds, like buddleia, fuschia, montbretia etc.
It's quite difficult to keep them under control
