If you've used your motorhome recently don't forget to drain it down. Light frosts and you might get away with just emptying your tanks, but if it gets as cold as they are promising in the next few days; then you need to completely drain down.

Me.."You've burned the pump out, the taps are open and the pumps been running dry for the hour you've been in here"

- All the liquids out, Fresh and grey, open those taps and maybe get the last out with a spin round the block. Don't forget the black.
- Make sure your water heater is empty.
- Run your taps for a little while to empty the pipes (don't damage your pump by running too long)
- Don't forget your toilet flush if you have one.
- Water filters can catch you out, make sure they are completely empty, or if easily removed, take it out.
- Turn the 12v off and then open up all your taps, if they are mixer taps then put them in the mid position.
- Remove your shower-head, you be amazed at how much water it might hold
- Remove any jars of food or beers, wine and champagne that might crack if they freeze.
