I sort of give a "half" wave as most of the time, people just don't.
The other thing I've noticed is that due to the overhang (on both overcabs and a lot of low pros) you can't actually see into the Cab so can't see if they wave or not.

We were amazed at how many waved back at us in France, it was the French more than other nationalities, having said that there were more of them. We did find we had less waves when driving on dual carriageways though.

I usually Wave, Point, and Wave some more - very enthusiatically like I've just spotted a long lost pal.
Nearly always get a response that way (albeit relunctant) :Confused:
VW campers do have an excuse.
