We have just spent a very nice few days over the New Year on the West Mids showground at Shrewsbry.
It is a nice town and a great venue for meets so as we were leaving today I had a chat with Jan and Ian who run things there, we asked about what else was on that we could tap into and also about using the river access for a bit of a canoeing/kayaking meet, (in the summer of course).
So the question is who would be interested in getting together in a field with water, waste dump, good access to a nice town and of course access to a nice flat section of navigable river for a bit of canoeing/kayaking and general messing about in the water (hope it's warm).
Electric hook up could be available but it would mean that you were parked in a different area to most and further away from the river.
Own canoes/kayaks would be required but a certain amount of sharing may be possible
We are not taking booking yet just getting an idea of interest so please indicate:
1 if you are interested
2 if you have your own craft
3 would you be prepared to let others borrow your equipment
