Recently witnessed the guy pictured below blatantly empty his cassette into the river ( he was also fishing) we were down wind and it wasn't pleasant. Maybe he works for Southern Water so sees no wrong in his actions.

Hopefully someone recognises him and shops him. Absolutely no point moaning about sewage releases into rivers when people do things like that. If needs really must, it's better to dig a hole, drop it in there and cover it. The soil will then filter it before it gets in the water course.
