Good morning all,

I have had two unexplained message displays on my Xzent recently. To be far, it has never worked satisfactorily. The volume button on the steering wheel does not respond, the DAB radio may receive one or two stations if I am lucky and it will not sync with my phone. Even though I am told it was updated this year.
The messages are shown below.
Does anyone know what this means?

I suspect it means the Xzent has a serious software or hardware issue.

I get the application error message occasionally. Switch off as my on again seem a to resolve.

Volume and other buttons was solved by programming them in settings. Hadn't been done factory or by dealer.

I wouldn't trust that you do have current software version. Check for yourself on the Xzent website for updates, both the firmware and nav files are separate process using the USB.

If only a couple of DAB stations have they fitted and connected the DAB aerial and does it need power?

Hi Kannon Fodda.

The DAB radio scans and displays many stations, but when selected, none work. I will check the software update, but I have never had that memory message before. Two weeks ago the system thought that I was in Holland, when I was actually in the u.k. Very strange.

Thank you Tonyidle, that's what I think.

The software update will greatly improve the quality of the DAB radio.

I have an xzent unit. Did all the updates. Was sent back to Germany for testing etc and still get the critical error message which I just delete. DAB radio is very fickle and never get a consistent signal. It also depends where you are as to what type of dab signal is available! It’s hopeless! The sat nav was affected by dash cam being on windscreen above radio so have to keep it away from there and had no issues since. The steering wheel controls can be set up from the Xzent menu.
