Do any of you folks winter in Spain/Portugal of the festive period? Jan & I are planning to do just that this year and would appreciate any advice regarding suitable sites, quiet but not too far from a town/city where we can enjoy the celebrations......we are open to suggestions

How long is your trip going to be.
From Calais you are looking at three days each way.
All along the Algarve there are Aires to stop all within contact of the local town. Its very much on yourselves as to what you want.
Without your actual clear list of requirements specific it would difficult to chip in.

The other end is the like of Benidorm. Very lively and lots going on again not everyones cup of tea
