We are going to Stonehaven for New Year. Can anyone advise as to the best external winscreen cover for a van on a 2017 Ducato Chassis.

Personally I have a polar minster external cover, best I've ever used but here's the thing

It's the only one I've ever used, however, I've gone for this one on recommendation from people who have had a few different ones for various reasons and this was the one they preferred.

Minster products for me too, Polar screen is very good, I made 2 elasticated straps to fit on the 2 small loops they fit on the screens near the doors, to further strap the screen to doors. In addition with hindsight I would have loops fitted to bottom on screen to stop it lifting in the wind, it’s not a big problem though.

I've always wondered what those loops by the handles are for I have to admit. The flap over the vents was only flappy on one occasion i used it and have to admit I did think I must do something about that. In typical fashion Ive never got round to it lol

Stonehaven in January! Don't park side on to the sea unless you have anchored your van down 😱

I take it you'll be going to the fireballs? I used to live out there and had the honour of being asked to swing one back in 2012.

They put on a good firework display which you can get a decent view from the campsite.

We are. This is our third try. Covid stopped our last efforts.

I've got a 2018 Fiat Ducato (Swift Bessacarr) and I bought one of these last year. The link takes me to a closed page though, but I wonder if it's down for today, as it says the seller is away today, so I'm assuming that's due to the funeral. It was £169 and it works very well. Keeps the van toasty and there's no condensation in the window in the morning when you've had the heating on through the night.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/pbgj001 - This is the seller who has excellent feedback.
