Since retiring 17 years ago we have always sought out a warm spot to over-winter. Inevitably often Spain, but Portugal and Morocco have been visited. We even spent 3 months in Australia back in 2005 renting a KEA Camper and touring about 25,000 miles. So sometimes staying at one location for 8-12 weeks sometimes touring with a new stop-over every couple of days.

This time of year is about the time I start thinking/planning our venture. This year is no different or is it? We did Spain , a single site this year, enjoying it immensely. A well organised super facilities, nice pitch, campsite with pool and restaurant etc. a short cycle into town, good company etc.

But with the C19 problem do I fancy the shared facilities, washrooms, etc? Without a vaccine available I think paranoia would stress me silly.

So what's the options? Stay home in France, it's mild here but can be rainy. Or tour never using common facilities, but using on-board shower and washroom.

What's the consensus? Would you go to fixed site? Am I paranoid? Will you be staying home? Or touring?

Cheers

Gerry
