:welcome4:If you are going to be using the van a lot I personally would not bother with a cover they can be a pain to get on and off and tend to rub the paintwork if not careful🤔

Unless you are by the sea or have to park the van under trees, I really wouldn't bother. We bought one for our first motorhome, we had 2 more since and didn't even think about buying a cover. When you are leaving you have enough to do and just want to get on and when you come back the same. They are usually a real pain to put on properly (if you have a van, arguably easier), the vehicles are made (to varying degrees!) to withstand the weather and to be honest, 2 proper washes a year is enough and gives you and opportunity to check things over.

Our experience with using a mototrhome cover was not good and we will not use a cover again on a motorhome that's parked outside, the reason why, well we used a cover over winter to keep the muck and grot off and although the cover was tight on the motorhome the wind moved the cover about and rubbed through areas of paint to the aluminium on the corners of the motorhome. The cover was not a cheap one, it was a Royal breathable with a soft flock type lining.

We have a protec premium cover...Basically it has a few bits added to aid solar charging and getting into to it and of course ...putting it on too...by that ...loops to aid lift on and off, plus other added bits too! Oh...Also ...we have a Automatic sat system so it has the dome material too. I Think its the best thing we have purchased for its protection in years! Its dry and leaf free. Its Not damp at all ....As regards rubbing? If it's fitted correctly why should it rub at all? Cannot see any signs of problems at all and think its worth every penny to be honest!
