This year I have been unlucky to have had to replace 2 windscreens and last week needed a small chip repaired before it got bigger. I know my Insurer states that with windscreen claims my no claims bonus is protected but should I expect a big hike in renewal premium? Has anyone any experience of this?

Windscreen replacement is classed as a claim and should be declared even when renewing a different vehicle.
I did not bother with the insurance last time and paid £160 to have it replaced instead of the £100 excess.

Wow, you got an absolute bargain at £160. I looked at having mine replaced without going through insurance at the end of last year and the cost to replace would've been nearly £650!

Mine needs changing and excess is £130.00.

To buy the screen direct is £980.00.

Mine came out at nearly 3 grand no increase in insurance.
