Windbreak recommendations

I’ve finally decided to splash out on a guy-less windbreak but can’t decide between the Jormax or the Isabella. Grateful for any views on the pros and cons of either.

After pondering on the cost of a Jormax, we purchased one as they are as good as they say and you do not have to arse around with guy lines and the like.

We’ve Isabella, brilliant, as above no guy ropes required and after 8 years look as they did when purchased, not cheap though

A vote for Isabella - easy to erect and very sturdy. Looks pretty cool too!

Jormax isn't cheap but worth the money - their Vision mesh panels https://www.jormaxwindbreaks.co.uk/windbreaks/vision work well too. Not tried Isabella windbreaks but they are renowned for the quality of their products.

We've had a couple of Jormax windbreaks for several years now. Seemed expensive at the time but you get what what you pay for. Very sturdy in very windy conditions great piece of kit.

I bought a Kampa Air Windbreak worth every penny, so easy to inflate. Stayed up earlier this year in Spain when others despite guy ropes were blown over.
Worth a look Good Luck

Jormax for me, not used it yet due to some funny virus doing the rounds but did put it up in the garden, it was really easy!

I bought mine second hand on eBay, managed to snag 2 x 5M Jormax windbreaks in excellent condition for £175!

Worth keeping an eye on there.

Jormax for us, it is expensive but our larger Weimaraner is best part of 50 KG in weight and can put his paws on the top rail with his full weight against it without any movement and that's without any guy ropes being needed

Must say, that we always groan when we see windbreaks going up, it seems a Brit thing, rarely see any others use one as they are often looked on as anti-social. As long time livers abroad in hot parts of the world, we enjoy interacting with the locals and not so local.

Blue Diamond, wooden poles but not noisy like the plastic beach wind breaks. Although we rarely use it, normally comes out if really windy for a cooking area or to block the route if other peoples kids keep running through the back of a pitch.

I can certainly understand the “anti social” comment, however, when you have a couple of dogs, good windbreaks are the only way to contain them and give them easy access in and out of the van!
