has any one got first hand knowledge of wild camping in Spain and Portugal is it or isn’t it allowed

Wild camping back on the cards in Portugal from 25August.
Stays outside official sites/aires etc and outside protected natural areas now allowed for up to 48hrs at a time within each municipality. ( …..the average time a casette will last🤣)...

We have wild camped in Spain & Portugal for a month each year for a few years although not
last year, we find if you are sensible you are fine, having said that there are the new laws in Portugal but will will suck it and see. We have just had a week in Suffolk and only went on sites for two nights.
