None of the car parks in the New Forest allow overnighting. The Forestry Commission does check, apparently, and will move people on.could also stay just outside southampton in the new forest in one of numerous gravel carparks, depends where you want to be near to

I was one of those a wonderful spot it was. we got to it down School lane and the Solent comes in twice so we backed our M/Home over the wall and the sea was lapping up to us.The marina at Hamble had motorhomes parked in the car park, a few weeks ago. They were waiting for the Motorhome Facts meet to open, and they overnighted there. It is overlooking the Solent and had a lovely riverside

To wake up to that in the morning the view was terrific.
The Police came round and then watched us all night.

if so we have offsited there a few times and never been bothered ,as you say a great veiw,and some nice dog walks:thumb:
