Hello this is the first time I have asked a question on motorhome fun I am having a WIFI system fitted to my motorhome and would like to now what provider you would recommend using your past experience Thank you

We use Smarty. Sort of a contract, but turn off the auto renew and you have 180 days to credit the account.

Our package is 30gb data, £10, rolling 30 day contract. Limited to 20gb (I think) when roaming abroad. However, we can also use our phones as hotspots should we need to. (y)

I use Sky sim only because any unused data gets rolled over for up to 3 years so you don’t loose it like other providers.

Sky use the O2 network and also if you need a sim message me and I can send you a friends link with 30% off any sim package.

Scancom are doing an EE sim 60gb/month for 6 months one off payment £40. Only downside it only works in the UK.

depends to some degree where you will be using it most.
I live on my motoryacht currently, in England i was on Vodaphone, but when i moved to Scotland i really struggled in remote locations (the fishermen all swore by Three) so i switched and never had a problem again.
Its a phone sim i use, £20 for unlimited everything. (was half price for the first 6mths with Netflix included for free too).

I thought I had read somewhere that you can't use Sky SIMs in a mobile wi-fi router?

I've tried messaging you, but it won't go through. Would it be possible for you to message me with the link?
Thanks, John

this is interesting to me - I am with Three and looking at their offers they have a Wi-fi dongle and unlimited sim for £17 a month on a 24 month contract. Seems like a good deal?

I use Lebara which is on Vodafone.

Unlimited with no contract. £25 a month.

We only use the Smarty in the MiFi. Being able to renew when we want to saves us paying out when not in use.

For various reasons we won’t be going away in the van for the next two months, therefore no need to pay anything. (y)

Ofcom put a stop on providers doing that a few years ago.

I'm with three.unltd minutes and texts and 12gb data. If and when I need more i just add a one off data bundle for unltd Internet for a month £20. Then I only add it when I'm going somewhere.

We have Vodafone predominantly in the netgear router and three in our phones. I switch the micro sims in the router dependent on coverage. Currently on Arran where vodafone is poor so the three sim is in the router.

Both are sim only unlimited monthly contracts, combined cost is around £40 a month I think?. Vodafone are the only provider who really mean unlimited, every other company has a fair use policy which usually has a cut off between 12 -20 GB of data.

We use Lebara sim , on the vodaphone network in the mifi....One of our phones has smarty sim,on the 3 network..other phone has plusnet sim on EE network.
Our thinking being that wherever we may be , the chances of having at least one of the three networks available has to be at least reasonable.
