Looking to find someone competent who can clean the outside my van - especially the roof. Cleaning the roof is becoming more of a risk for me with age. I live on the Wirral and can travel beyond to a valet who has premises. Let me know if you if you can point me in the right direction.

I would just say that go with recommendations you are absolutely sure of.
I booked a supposed professional detailer/valeter with excellent reviews on his smart looking website. He did such a bad job that my van required remedial respraying work to be done, with a resulting four figure bill.
I am now very, very wary of detailers, unless they're recommended to me by people I know and trust.
