While most german vans are going wood free .......

I actually really like it. Not the price bit but the rest is sweet.

Some beautiful woodwork, but quite niche appeal, I’d imagine.

It "wooden" do for me thank you. A lifetime of wood preservative and/or re-varnishing methinks - nightmare!

I have seen something similar before, but the wood was planking like a log cabin on a sprinter chassis. It belonged to a couple from the channel islands and i believe made by a swedish company. I t was apparently mega expensive but IMV fairly pointless.

Why would you buy that. It’s a teachest on wheels. I’m all for being a bit quirky like that teardrop caravan, but it’s butt ugly.

Or one of these

My thoughts exactly. Even if done with two pack polyurethane.....

very dim and dingy inside

I like the inside - infinitely better than the usual mix of imitation wood. But the outside?? Hideous.

A phrase we picked up from watching Thomas the Tank Engine with our son when he was a nipper, and which still gets the occasional airing in our house. "Its not wrong, but we just don't do it !"

Bloody dark inside - almost no windows.

Thought the loo seat would have been wood.

Bet the payload is shit.

Not for me either but I found it a strange concept and did wonder why on earth anyone would want one and especially at the price of it

But I guarantee there will be some folks out there that will buy one

First thing I looked for was twin rear wheels.... Allegedly 700 kilo on a 4 tonne chassis :pinocchio:

That one I can actually see a small benefit as it's demountable and as the add says can be used in the garden as additional accomodation or summer house etc ...

The inside looks lovely if a little dark..
But the outside !
Looks like they have raided a builders skip and used dexion angle iron and shuttering ply ! Awful

You'd spend more time maintaining it than using it and once the damp weather gets to it the wood would swell and you'd never get in some of the cupboards without a fight.

It also looks like a home-made job by someone who got a good price on plywood and large strips of Lego for the exterior corners/joints! :giggle:

To be honest I don't see why it would need more maintaining than a wooden boat ,house or chalet ....
