Hi there.
I removed the headlining so I could insulate behind it. Ive reattached the headlining to a layer of 5mm reflectix style insulation with spray adhesive.
However after driving around this summer, its all started to peel off and hang down again.
Maybe because the heat melts the current glue, maybe I just used the wrong glue.

Is it better to use a glue gun?
Something in a tube....I still have sikaflex left?
Or something else?

Thanks

use the spray but you need to spray the headlining and the surface to be attached then leave for 3 to 5 minutes before sticking together, that shoukd do it depending on the spray additive. Sikafkex is not the solution.

High temperature trim adhesive in a spray can, applied to both surfaces as above. The time to dry depends on temperature, if it’s 30 outside it dries within seconds ready to bond together.
