After two helpful discussions I now know what I'd like to do.

A 2nd AGM battery and 170W Solar panel to run my 12v for as long as is practical off grid. Get a power pack and portable solar panel to run 240 AC appliances. This will ensure I don't void my guarantee in the first 2 years.

So, which power pack will be most suitable for my needs:

1. EcoFlow Delta 3 with a 220W solar panel at £1149 with any other deals I can find. Delta 2 Max + 400W solar at £1548 (ships August 26th)
I like this system and everything I've heard suggests it's very good. I also like the idea of being able to get a 2nd battery if required. There is also the possibility of getting a third party solar panel. The only down side of the seems to be the Delta 3 is 1800W AC OP and I may not be able to get the Delta 2 by 1st September.

Bluetti Elite 200 V2 + 350W solar panel £1448.
This has 2000+ WH. 16db noise output. People are generally positive about the company. Good selection of connections. 350W solar panel available. 5 year warranty. The down side is no possibility of expansion.

Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 + 200W solar panel £1149.
A reasonable price but the solar panel is only 200W and I don't want 2 panels. The solar panel also has a proprietary connection. It does have 2200 output and 2042 Wh capacity but I'm struggling to come up with positives.

I'd appreciate feedback form users on the companies, the product and customer service.

I have the EcoFlow Delta 2. Very reasonably priced. I haven’t got their solar, and probably won’t go that way. I prefer their B2B as we don’t stay in places long. Flat to full in a hours drive. If I did ever go solar it would be a portable panel. I don’t want to be parking in full sun, prefer the shade and a cool van.

Can’t fault their product. I couldn’t justify the cost of the Delta 3, over a heavily discounted 2.

How long can you last off grid with the Delta 2 and use the 240v equipment you have?

Why only those brands?
I have an Anker 757 which, although now superseded, has worked flawlessly for several years.
I use a Dokio 300w folding panel to replenish.

I honestly don’t know. We are campers, so use very very little electricity. Recharge e-bike batteries, and occasional hair duties for the mrs and that is all we use power bank for. I can do more than 5 days on my two old lead batteries without problem, and no power input. Each person is different with their needs. I’m happy with a gas hob, Moka coffee pot, and a BBQ.

Surely this is a logic decision? Therefore just check that they are LiFePo4 cells (not LiPo) and get the largest Wh per £GBP… they all do the same job at the end of the day!

I use anker 767. If I was to replace it I’d go for the most watts and best built in inverter for the £. You might want to consider things like UPS (uninterrupted power supply) and pass through charging if you are going to put the ehu through it.

I don’t think you’ll go far wrong with any of them. Anker has an expandable battery too. The cables can make them unwieldy though

I’d like to know if owners of the particular brands have had a good or bad experience. Are they reliable etc. I agree re LifePo4 but someone might highlight that one of them has a poor connection with the cigarette lighter or other quirks I could do without.
