Hello all. Hope you are all managing to keep fit and well throughout this virus.
DH has completely stripped out the backend of the MH to tackle the damp issues (we knew what we were taking on) and The Big One has very kindly advised us on which adhesive for the new wall boards. But, the back corner has screws going into the uprights of wood from the outside, covered by the ally exterior corner strip. So DH would like to know, please, if he has to remove the exterior to rescrew or can the wood be held to the inside of the ally exterior with any type of glue? All the screws do is hold the wooden frame for the wall boards to the ally. Hope that makes sense?
Thank you in advance as I know now what a knowledgeable bunch you are :giggle:

Was thinking Evo Stick Sticks Like Sh*t. :giggler:

I'd have a browse through the Sikaflex range, it's the very best of adhesives & sealants.

I use Puraflex 40 from Toolstation to stick and seal everything ? Works on wood Ali and plastic ...a lot cheaper than Sikaflex and every bit as good

....and, as I am fond of pointing out to the nay sayers, it's made by Sika too !

Thank you for helping. I should have posted a little earlier to give to for replies. DH wanted to get on with things while he had the time so picked up Sticks Like Turbo. He's part way through the back corner and it's a very large section. But he's making it much stronger than it was. It's astonishing that during the MH's manufacture, many screws holding wooden batons or fittings were just going into the polystyrene rather than any wood.
You'd think the manufacturers would do a proper job rather than a bodge
