How big is your van ? If its 6m or under its cheaper to book directly at the port. Carlos the ferry broker is some miles away .if you check on line its Carlos Normandie ferry's. There are co ordinates and it's next to a Mercadonna and carrafour supermarket where you can park up.for the night.

On the 10am ferry to Tanger med tomorrow on an open return €240
Filled up with diesel at 1.38 a liter and lpg at a euro a liter job done!
So do i have to do paperwork on the ferry for entry and 3 party insurance at the port in Morocco?
Where the best place to get a Maroc telecom sim?
All answers greatfully received even the facetious ones for this Morocco virgin!

Filled up with diesel at 1.38 a liter and lpg at a euro a liter job done!
So do i have to do paperwork on the ferry for entry and 3 party insurance at the port in Morocco?

From what i remember, you have to do some paperwork with a policeman in the ferry. Insurance is available at a booth on the left hand side as you exit the port after going through all the entry checks. Cant help with the phone sim.

Not at the port. His office is just off the motorway at j112 A7, next to the big Carrefour supermarket. Go past it and turn R at the next roundabout. His new office is on the corner on your left.

The ferry port arrivals terminal, various camp grounds ,but you may want to look at holafly esim I prefer to use them now.

I would stop at Asilah first night and theres a big Maroc telecom shop on the main road by the 2 campsites. They re well used to dealing with tourists.

Don't forget your passport.

Just to add, go steady with the speed limits. If you see a Berlingo window van by an island chances are its a speed trap.

Deisel in Morocco is currently 14.0 d/ litre , about £1.20.
Paperwork just for passengers on the ferry and when you get to Tangier med , the customs will sort out the paperwork for the van . Needs your passport and V5 in your name.
3rd party insurance and money exchange is also in the port.there's plenty of parking and offices set up for isurance and money..
You can get a maroc telecom sim in any of the towns you pass through as said Asilah being the first one. Welcome to Morocco.
