Hello all. More my problem than my husbands, but interested to know if anyone would share a great way to store shoes in a Motorhome please. I’d like a better solution than our current one, which is a large flexible rubber bucket that lives in the shower cubicle whilst we’re on route, but is generally in the way when we are parked up!

The boss's are in the bottom of the wardrobe mine are the small seat by the hab door that has a side flap about 7 or 8 pairs of mine in there. . Our walking boots are in a locker under another seat accessed from outside.

Mine stay on my feet but the wife’s are in several places.

In a box , under the side seat in our continental lounge, which is as large as the drop down bed . It’s the seat base you take out , to allow you to put your feet on the floor when using the rear passenger seats.
And a 2sets kept in the door step.( they are a pain to store though.)

I bought one of those over door hangers with lots of shoe sized pockets, removed the hanger and put shoes in then lay it on wardrobe floor or store it on wardrobe floor rolled up, walking boots are stored in passenger footwell whilst stationary and in front of hab door when on the move. Works for me ..

Depends on the van, our first we kept them under the drivers seat, no electrics there so was nice and handy, i also had a couple of hidey holes for my spares. Second we kept in a morrison's bag in the garage, although I found I could get about 4 pairs of mine down behind the water tank, John's were too big to fit.
This one actually has a handy cupboard by the door. I can only get 2 pairs of sandals in beside the water tank in this one, but have found another hidey hole.
Am fortunate to have small feet, a partner who is as keen on shoes as I am, but never takes as many, and the payload needed.

Mucky ones inside bottom step or outside depends how mucky. Clean under the table, reserves under bunk storage. Motorcycle ones in garage, fair weather rider so they never get mucky.

In our Rienza there are coat hooks to the left of the habitation door so we also have a hanging thing with pockets for shoes from the Range. We kept the dog lead and bags in one of the pockets nearest the door.
Any wet boots or shoes sit on a mat in front of the heater overnight. I had thought of getting one of the tray things for wet shoes.
Due to the bulk of boots and wellies we have one locker under the centre seat for those once they are dry.

In the bottom of the wardrobe, however the weight (mainly swmbos) caused the rather flimsy fixings of the floor of the wardrobe to collapse so now replaced with something stronger.
Edit. Must point out swmbos shoes are much smaller than mine size 3 against my size 12, its the quantity that's the problem.

7 or 8 pairs blimey.

There was a small hatch with a door into the garage, I bought a 3 shelve unit and fitted it facing the hatch from the inside of the garage, now we have a small shoe locker.

In the bottom of our respective wardrobes for normal shoes. Under the island bed which can be accessed from outside for muddy boots, wellies, motorcycle boots etc.

Whatever fits in the hidey-hole under the seat next to the hab door, where Lenny keeps his. The difference is just two out of the eight pairs are mine. Rear axle weight limitations dictate this is the furthest aft for shoes :)

One has got to have a choice you know.
Don't have a problem with space or payload (300kg spare) so just throw a load in before leaving home. Just thinking about what normally goes in there, 2 pairs of shoes, pair of walking shoes, sandals I like driving in, walking sandals, a pair I like on the bike, beach neoprene shoes and of course the crocs. Walking boots kept in a different place.:giggle:

I suppose I could hop everywhere then I could load more shoes for my right foot.

Various places depending on the layout/storage available, but in our Carthago as we don't 'hang' clothes they all get folded and go in the upper lockers over the rear transverse bed and in the wardrobe under the bed I put a shelf which houses pans and bulky bits & bobs and the bottom is for shoes (in plastic crates), dustpan and other such stuff.

We keep our shoes in the shoe cupboard by the habitation door.

We use a couple of these in the wardrobe to keep shoes in - bought from Halfords.

I fitted shelves into the thin cupboard that the table is supposed to be stored in, perfect shoe width

At the last count I think I am married to Imelda Marcos! I won't say how many but she has taken over a spare room with her collection! :giggle:
