swift Sundance 580 pr , does his seem about right or on the low side, anybody got any useful help, thanks

ride is ok, always run tyres harder than stated pressures on vans and cars

you need your axle weights
then look up the manufacturers pressure charts, this is Continental CP figures

Get it weighed , phone the tyre manufacturer, they will tell you the exact pressures you will need.

My fiat ducato with 215/70R 15CP are ,according to the manufacture, 5.5 bar rear and 5 bar on front..plus or minus 0.05...

Prefer the sharper feeling of steering and improved fuel economy usually run full load high speed pressure all the time
There's a limit. Go too high and road imperfections cost energy as you bounce over lumps instead of carrying momentum (worsening mpg) and make the steering skaty and prone to tramlining. Plus it's tiring.

Front 3.5 Bar (51 PSI)
Rear 4.75 Bar (68 PSI)

And reduced grip when it’s wet.

Gross weight 3560 kg,
On 215/70 R 15 CP. Gives a comfortable ride.

We usually run at about 3400 with the weight spread fairly evenly across the axles. Continental recommended 44 psi front and 54 psi rear. Much lower than our dealer set them. As others have said it's best to contact the tyre manufacturer with your axle weights.
