Hello, I'm clearing out all the dust, sea-sand etc from the front of the van including under the carpet and the battery space. Whilst doing this, I noticed this lead just hanging in the battery space. It has a yellow socket and a thin lead with a circular washer connector. I've attached a photo. The yellow connector has a number of leads all covered by some covering (not conventional electrical tape) and the leads disappear into the van. Just curious.

Is it anything to do with disconnecting the solanoid?

I don't know what it does; there is nothing nearby to which it can connect. eddievanbitz-I'm not sure whether yours is a humorous reply or not. As I said above, into what should it be plugged?

You can only plug it in if you have the "Numerous functions" Option

We have the same. I was going to suggest we plug ours together to see what happens, then I remembered “social distancing”. :)

After eddievanbitz informed me of it, I point out below for him and possibly other numpties like me, the "Numerous functions" socket's location. ?

Or could it be the Anderson connector for the jump leads?

all vehicles have various plugs floating around un used they build one loom to cover everything

It’s for the optional ejector seat.....
can’t be that-it’s on my (driver’s) side. But what an optional extra. Do Fiamma do one??

Auxiliary battery connector, often fitted on vehicles ordered with conversion options. I think it's intended for an additional vehicle battery, not habitation batteries.
