What iclass is a 5 ton tag axle motorhome.
As any one had theirs done in or around The West Midlands.
Thanks John.

A motorhome is class 4 John.
Some garages charge for class 7 but they are incorrect.
In your case it's important to find a garage to take your length and height.

Mine passed today, no advisories, yat, and the tester confirmed Class 4 for any vehicle as long as it is a motorhome, and not a van with windows.
I have moved to Devon, but have previously used C7 autos in Bromyard a number of times, and ROM motors in Malvern.
Hope that helps.

The definition of class is what the tester sees NOT what is on the V5

That's interesting, I thought since it went computerised, when the tester logged your vehicle on, it came up with the details supplied by the DVLA and all Motor Caravans were class 4? 🤔

it comes up with the details and what the the current test class is logged as but that could be wrong and it is changeable to correct it, have changed several commercial vans that were tested as class 4 but should have been class 7
