Before motorhome we had annual multi trip insurance for overseas holidays which covered personal and holiday costs.
Now with motorhome we only do 1 non motorhome overseas trip a year. We will also do 2 overseas motorhome trips and numerous UK motorhome trips
We have breakdown cover with our motorhome insurance which includes overseas. So my question is to do with annual personal cover. Do you take out annual multi trip insurance which I assume covers personal repatriation even if motorhome trip? Or do you look at annual motorhome recovery and do single trip insurance?
Just interested in what other people do.

We use Nationwide bank account, it costs £13 a month but I consider that is okay simply for the breakdown cover. Just paid £274 extra for the travel insurance which is for 12 months and includes £65 for being over 70, around £70 for medical issues and the rest to extend the cover from 30 days to 90 day trips.

We take out annual multitrip which covers all foreign trips but UK ones only if there are bookings. Includes medical insurance and repatriation. The breakdown insurance covers repatriation of the motorhome.
Medical insurance we consider essential as we are old and decrepit, and is a requirement for going on a cruise.

I use Nationwide on the same reasoning that the European breakdown cover alone justifies the cost of £13 a month to cover all 5 of my vehicles and any vehicle in which I'm a passenger.

I also pay a one-off age-related fee for the health part.

Odd innit, that insurances are the only things we ever buy and hope to never use or get our money's worth.
