Friends of ours treated themselves to a new garden Barbeque, really posh bit of kit with cupboards draws burner hobs the lot. Anyway he has no idea when it comes to anything gas so he was relying on me to connect up the gas and get it flashed up. We started early so it was all ready for a late afternoon barbi.:)

One thing led to another and it turned into a bit of a giggle.:giggle: The girls not wanting to miss out on our fun soon joined us in the garden.

We got through a few wines and a couple of beers my friends could hardly get their words out, my lovely lady could hardly sit let alone stand and I was just a tad talkative;) Cut a long story short, we ended up with having fish and chips delivered. No Barbi but it was a really good weekend.(y)

If you are looking for a site in Alyth, I'm more than happy to recommend Five Roads Caravan Park run by a great Funster couple Simon & Sarah @Dodgey ...

Parked at point of ayre, isle of man. Here for the weekend. A bit blustery but the wind is blowing down the length of the van. On our own at the moment. That will probably change during the weekend.

Stickney Boot Sale. Free to stay overnight and I'm told the biggest boot sale you'll ever see. Looking at size of the plot and the laid out roads I beginning to believe them. Unfortunately it starts at 7am - Bugger we'll have to get up early tomorrow.

We’re on an unplanned trip to Pickering. It’s too nice to stay home . We’d only end up doing jobs .... off to Crete next week on our jollies . We’re all packed and ready to go . So we may stay Sunday night too .

Tomorrow morning we set off for a 2 week trip to the west coast of Scotland and probably a trip across to Skye, we’ll be at Sango Sands for Kath’s birthday on the 29th, hopefully the weather will be kind :)

Our final weekend in France before sailing back home from Dieppe on Wednesday next week. We've had a great month in France and will be returning end of August for another month.

Really don't know how we found the time to go to work!
