Trying to find out what these are for.
First photo the item on the right of the control panel with the wire going from it.
Second photo the rocker switch above the gas gauge.
thanks
I am not sure but the first one looks like a temp sensor for the heating perhaps.
the rocker switch could be for anything but i would at a guess think it has something to do with the stuff around it, does it activate anything when switched
I’ve been sent photos of a van I’m thinking of getting so can’t try them out. Fitted with Webasto so could be temp gauge.
Rocker switch either to check gas level perhaps or maybe to switch the radio off from the seated area instead of going up to the cab. It’s near the speaker so could be.
I don’t think it’s the Webasto. It could be a rocker switch to give an instant reading on the on board gas gauge below. Or as I say to control the cab radio. It’s a Murvi, and in my current van the control panel has a switch that turns the radio on and off from the seated area, so it could be a separate switch for that. Any Murvi owners on here that can answer.
Pure quess.. rocker switch in off position and gas gauge is showing nothing....even if empty the left hand red led should be lit....so is rocker switch(maybe spring loaded) to turn gas gauge on and off..???
As I said I can’t test it yet. Just curiosity as to whether anyone has a similar conversion and could identify. Thanks for all the input. I’ll have to be patient for now.
Could light up dial below.
Definately won’t switch off speaker but could switch off radio.
Definately not awning light.
Could be something else but no idea what.
My guess, and it is only a guess, is that the position of the rocker switch would indicate that it switches the gauge below it, presumably a level gauge for a underslung gas tank.
