What’s the best thing about your van?

It's NOT white... So that helps me to rule out many vans when i stagger back to it..
see my photo. I think I was in an advanced stage of refreshment when i posted this.
That it's mine and I'm in it!
Very zen. Being in the van is probably the best this about it 🧘🏻
The best thing about my van is I can drive past the 'parking lot' in your photo and find somewhere quiet
I think all vans have that feature. If you did that right here you’d miss seeing the biggest karst spring in Europe.
🤔 Oh where do I start? 🤔🤔 The first thing that springs to mind is cam chain🥰.
🤓
It’s mine, all of it, no credit….😎
lots of people agree. I think I agree too.

The fact that it's set up to suit my needs, is 100% mine, and I can be on the road for a trip away within 40 minutes!
(Hmm, I suppose that's three things, so the short version is just 'it's mine and I love it'!) 😍

What I like after 8 years it still Does not leak nothing has fallen off not needed any attention other than normal servicing and the 5 ft wide island bed although it takes up too much room

A small locker with a power socket.
I can use a standard wind up cable reel with normal 240v sockets.
Fully unwind, connect a short lead from the Moho socket to the extension reel socket and place the reel in the locker

…I purchased it 17 yrs ago, never any trouble with it…
I wish I could say that about our van - six years old and thousands in maintenance. One my fault, lots down to Fiat’s hokey engine and Adria’s creative plumbing.

Same here Rog NotJane that last Malibu of ours, 6 months old and it was literally falling to pieces! Our previous 2020 orange Malibu was like a tank compared to that other heap, thankfully this new Hymer seems to be as solid as a rock

Hope the same is true of the Xtura. German engineering…

The alarm immobiliser, it's a Vanbitz strike back with metatrak tracker, I feel secure because we immobilise the ignition before we go out, it's such a comfortable feeling knowing our van is secure while we are out.
Next is the maxx airfan, brilliant piece of kit.

For the good Captain I should have titled this thread “What do you like about this month’s van”

It is very much personalised by us for us. Extra led lighting, umpteen USB charging points, miriacle expanding centre table that doubles in size when required, lithium based electrics, glass solars, 1800 watt inverter, very good turning circle and goes like the proverbial off a shovel. Otherwise its bog standard,

And the Vanbits growler metatrack thing of course.
